Athar Al Hakim Stars in ‘Amr Izalah’

Egyptian actress Athar Al Hakim has begun shooting the TV series Amr Izalah, directed by Ridha Al Najjar and scripted by Karam Al Najjar, according to the Kuwaiti daily Al Rai Al A’m.
The series explores the daily life in an old Egyptian neighborhood, depicting the residents’ faithfulness to values and their preservation of traditions.
Hakim has recently wrapped up the shooting of her film Al Jarimah Taduq Al Abwab (Crime Knocks on the Doors) shot in Cairo and Paris.
The film, directed by Ahmed Al Sabaawi, is about the Egyptian intelligence department confronting an international gang that attempts to smuggle an immense amount of drugs into Egypt – 7750ca.com
