Production Execs Say Laila Ulwi Making Bombs

Egypt’s Information Production City execs believe that Laila Ulwi is making bombs.
Egyptian actress Laila Ulwi is pleading with them to set a date for screening her latest film, Noor Wa Nar (Light and Fire), shot more than two years ago.
But the executives have refused to screen the film, ever since calculating that it would bomb at the box office. The failure of the film, they said, would generate a negative buzz about the movies produced at their facility.
The Egyptian Al Masaa daily cited the execs as saying that Ulwi’s movies had not generated enough revenues to cover the expenses of her latest film.
The city depends on the distribution of films on the state-owned and private television stations, and so it would be better for it to debut the film on the small screen - 3d2d8c.com
