10- Bedazzled

Tagline: Meet the Devil. She's giving Elliott seven wishes. But not a chance in Hell.

A remake of the 1967 comedy classic with Dudley Moore, which playfully updated the central conceit of Goethe's Faust. Geeky, hopelessly shy tech-support drone Elliot, Brendan Fraser, has dreams of romantic bliss with girl-next-door type Allison, Frances O'Connor.
Elliot figures his cause is lost until Beelzebub, Elizabeth Hurley, drops in with an offer he can't refuse: seven wishes in exchange for his soul. Yet each time our hero uses a wish to reinvent himself (as a rock star, a genius, a drug lord, a basketball star, etc.) the results aren't quite what he'd intended, forcing him to hit 666# on his special cherry-red pager and try again.
This comedy is rated PG-13 for sex-related humor, language and some drug content.
Aside from Fraser, Hurley and O’Connor, the cast includes Orlando Jones and Rudolf Martin.
The film was directed by Harold Ramis, Produced by Harold Remis and Trevor Albert and written by Larry Gelbart, Harold Ramis and Peter Tolan.
It was released by Fox.
The film’s running time is 1 hour and 33 minutes.
In its 4th week out, the movie fell down to No.10.
This time around, it made $2,500,200, giving it a running total of 34,618,000.
