Laila Taher Returns to Comedy
After a five-year sabbatical, Egyptian actress Laila Taher has announced her return to the world of comedy.
Taher made the announcement after wrapping up the shooting of the final scene of her series Al Hawdaj, in which she costars with Kamal Abu Dayyeh.
“I am currently reviewing the scripts of two series with director Mohammed Nabih…and will begin shooting in the middle of next month along with Omar Al Hariri,” Taher told the UAE daily Al Bayan.
The actress has also finished shooting the series Malikah Minal Janoub (Queen from the South) along with Safaa Abul Suoud, Karimah Mukhtar and Ahmed Maher - 35f4a8.com
