Ashraf Abdel Baqi to Host Al Muhandes and Shwikar

The young comedian Ashraf Abdel Baqi has managed to convince the duo Fuad Al Muhandes and Shwikar to appear as guests of honor in his latest film Estanglina.
The film is directed by Sayyed Seif and costarring Nermin Al Faqi, Ahmed Rateb and Yousef Daoud, according to Arabic daily Al Sharq Al Awsat.
“Muhandes and Shwikar’s acceptance of my offer means the return of this famous comedian duo to acting together after a 12-year sabbatical since they their last appearance in the play Rawhiyyah Inkhatafet (Rawhiyyah Kidnapped),” the daily cited Abdel Baqi as saying.
The film’s shooting will begin early next month, Adbel Baqi added. It explores the life history of a young man who inherits a big fortune but shocked with a strange condition requiring him to build a lunatic asylum before he would be eligible to obtain it.
The film includes many paradoxes on the way to implement the condition.
